Hi, I’m Michael Krongel, a serial entrepreneur for almost 30 years. I’m here to help guide and build the Bizvice community. My goal is to share my 30 years of entrepreneurship with those who can benefit the most from my experience.

I’ve been a CEO for almost 30 years. I co-founded my first business at 19 years old in 1996 called Intermark Media. I started a performance-based advertising agency with just $20 and grew it to over $92 million in annual revenue. We even snagged four Inc. 500 fastest-growing company awards! But then, an FTC lawsuit hit us hard. Business isn’t always sunshine and rainbows and having someone who’s been through it all can really help you build the right way.

In 2010, fourteen years later, I caught the startup bug again and launched an e-commerce company. Within just two months, we were generating over $400k in monthly sales by capitalizing on the group coupon trend driven by Groupon and LivingSocial.

In 2014, we sold that business and began pursuit of Pop Brands f.k.a. Popcrumbs, a collection of brands focused on supporting small business growth.

I’ve been a startup CEO my entire life, and in that time, I’ve generated over $500 million in revenue. I’ve reached hundreds of millions of prospects through both online and offline methods. My efforts have been recognized with four consecutive Inc. 500 awards. Plus, I achieved the 2 Comma Club award by hitting $1 million in sales within just two months, selling a single product through a one-page website. I’m passionate about leveraging my experience to drive growth and success.

Like anyone else, I’ve also faced my share of failures. My $92 million a year company went out of business after a multitude of unpaid bills and an expensive lesson from the FTC in 2010. See my ex-president story here.

Busted in all senses, I owed a few hundred grand on credit cards and had to start over. I jumped on the Groupon craze and built an e-commerce store that generated over $400K a month—all from my basement. In 2015, I sold that store for seven figures and shifted my focus to new ventures. One was a subscription box for women (which didn’t pan out), and the other was a B2B marketing business that helps small businesses find customers (which thrived). Fast forward almost 10 years, and here we are.

Today, we’ve built a network of top-tier partners across various niches and amassed a large database of small business owners who, like you, needed guidance. I’ve been in your shoe’s multiple times, figuring things out as I went. I understand the challenges of being an entrepreneur—it’s a tough, lonely journey that few truly get.
